Our Impact Corner

Tears filled our eyes when God’sgift, an orphan, came into our care. He had lost both parents and was left to survive alone, without food, clothing, or hope for the future.

The moment he walked into our home, he was poorly dressed, he looked malnourished and with zero self esteem. We saw how the rushed his food and proceeded to lay down from tiredness.

He was barely talking. Even after living with us for weeks, he wasn’t able to interact with other children. Y

But overtime, with the help of God and our caregivers added the fact that he was surrounded with love and boys like him, he has become more outspoken. Everyday we discover something new about Gift. Especially the fact that he is innovative and has a brilliant technical side that loves to arrange and fix things.

He has resumed schooling in our homeschool plan. Though we have to journey down to the foundation, we are willing to follow the process and patient enough to watch him grow under our care.

He looks really healthy. Like every other boy in the house, he eats balanced food thrice a day. He’s becoming more confident. We are paying close attention to his natural skills and seeing how we can improve on them.

Most importantly we are introducing him to Jesus. He’s been taught on how to pray and the need to pray before doing anything and everything. He joins other children to church and has sessions with his bible study teacher.

At Sarahโ€™s House Orphanage, we are giving him what heโ€™d been missing: a loving home. Now, he has siblings and is growing more confident each day.

This is what we are here for at

We look forward to seeing God’sgift flourish in the coming years.
